Employee Recognition
This month, we are spotlighting our remarkable facilities team. Steve M. heads up our Sanctuary Facilities Team, and our Farm Facilities Team is led by Kelly L. Operating on a century-old farm means that a large percentage of time is spent repairing or upgrading our existing infrastructure. The facilities team is also dedicated to making the property safe and suitable for the animals; which also includes our newest location in Lebanon, Oregon. Designing, updating and constructing various buildings is a constant, with Lillie's Lighthouse being our current project.
This will be a large, fully insulated multi-purpose steel building which will be primarily used as a quarantine space and storage area. Some of our other projects include drilling/setting up a secondary well, creating enrichment spaces for the animals, and preparing the property for the upcoming rainy season.
The collective knowledge, skillset and work ethic of this team impact the organization in countless ways, and we are so proud of the work that they do.
