Employee Recognition

This month, we shine a light on our Development Department, which consists of Rebecca, Tina, Kaci and Jolie, each of whom works remotely from different states. 


Finding resources and funds to operate and execute on our mission is one of the most important aspects of running this organization. There is no shortage of animals in need, so we must set goals to continue our growth and ability to rescue more animals. The Asher House Development Team is responsible for goal-setting, fundraising, stewardship, campaigns, merchandise, gifts, estates and donor advised funds. They also facilitate company match programs, keep our donation records and create forecasting reports to ensure that we are in a position to cover anticipated expenses and remain financially strong. 

We get thousands of emails each month with various requests and inquiries. Our Development Team oversees communications and customer service, reviewing and replying to the emails sent to the organization. Our Get Fixed Spay and Neuter Program is managed by our Development Department, along with our community involvement via library partnerships, school assemblies and homeless outreach. With their technical skills and creativity, they have built our enhanced website and continually keep it updated and relevant to keep you all apprised of the animals in our care and the work that we are doing. 


Each of The Asher House Pack Members are valued and appreciated for the pivotal roles that they play. I am fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team of employees across the board.
